Moen 26112srn Magnetix Low Flow, High Pressure Handheld Showerhead
The Moen brand and the concept of shower heads and shower fixtures seem so naturally paired that they belong in the same league as “cheese and crackers.” The Moen 26112srn Magnetix model being reviewed here does, without question, make a splash. If an introductory and affordable, yet high-end device is the goal, then perhaps one not need look any further than here for the best handheld shower head.
Not only is the device powerful, attractive and sturdy — the force behind the water is simply incredible. With fully adjustable streams, the power available that might not have been there prior is welcomed and appreciated.
Moen T8343CBN Commercial M-Dura Posi-Temp Tub/Shower Trim, 2.5-gpm
Whereas the first Moen device reviewed definitely shows its stars on the “well-roundedness” aspect, it could still leave the owner wanting. If living in the lap of luxury is the way to get down and a few extra hundred over the long-haul doesn’t phase the buyer, Moen’s T8343CBM Commercial M-Dura Posi-Temp really has a chance at best handheld shower head on the market. It features a main head and a separate wand on an extremely long tether while giving the user the ability to adjust each with a separate temperate control system. Astonishing that it comes with so much for only a hair above the rest in terms of pricing.
Speakman VS-123011 Alexandria Anystream Dual Shower Head Combo System
The speakman VS system linked here is certainly a very nice alternative to the second Moen system shown above. The VS-123011 does an excellent job at giving the owner a way to have dual head without needing to go as high up the price scale as a Moen customer would to get a similar experience. Whether one decides it to be the best handheld shower head is going to have mostly to do with budget considerations among some other variables. Speakman’s option has been catching customers and consumer product reviewers by surprise for some time now and really it is no wonder. The product is well-made and rather affordable.
A shower is, of course, a means to an end — staying clean. That said, a shower is more than a way to get clean. It’s also a very unique and personal way of relaxation for humans. Now for some simple back of the napkin math: If one planned on keeping a shower head for about ten years and took (on average) one shower per day, a shower head would have about 3,650 uses. Even if the price tag were over $300 for the shower head in question, it would still only work out to under ten cents per shower to make that upgrade! Who doesn’t have ten more cents out of their day to really enjoy a shower, rather than just mildly enjoy it?
